How it works.

Invitation only, browser only, Rio only. No app to download, nothing to cancel, and no algorithm deciding who you get to see.

01 — The crowd

Nobody got in
by accident.

Dating apps fill up with five-year-old photos, faces redrawn by filters, and profiles nobody has opened since March. That happens because anyone can join. We invite people ourselves, one at a time — so the verification isn’t a badge or a face scan. It’s a person who put their name on yours.

We can’t shrug and blame the algorithm for who you’re seeing. There is no algorithm. The room is one we chose.

Rio Now is built for adults between 21 and 65, visitors and locals alike — people who want to meet someone and are open to something fun and short-term, and see no reason to pretend otherwise.

04 — In under a minute

Setting up.

  1. 01

    Verify your number

    A one-time code by WhatsApp or SMS. No password to invent, no email to confirm.

  2. 02

    Four photos and the basics

    Your name, age, height and weight, and whether you live here or you’re visiting. One optional line about you. That’s the whole profile — everyone here arrives with the same expectations, so there’s nothing to choose.

  3. 03

    Browse free, send interest

    One person at a time, from everyone who fits your preferences and is free right now. Swipe left to pass, right to say yes. Look as long as you want, pay nothing.

  4. 04

    Activate when it’s mutual

    Both said yes? R$50 opens that chat for good, R$100 buys three connections at R$33 each, and R$500 opens every connection for five days. Either person can pay. Then it’s up to the two of you.

06 — Nothing goes stale

Profiles disappear.

You choose seven days, fourteen, or thirty. When that runs out you drop out of the pool, unless one tap keeps you going. Here for a long weekend? Pick the short one. When it ends, or when you delete your profile yourself, your profile and photos are deleted — not hidden, not archived, not saved for later.

Everyone you see is someone who confirmed they’re still here.

07 — Quietly careful

Discreet by default.
